Great online video beer guides are available in the UK in the strangest places - BT Vision's Download Store for one. I couldn't believe it - but BT is offering Beer: An Insider's guide for download-to-own.
And it is great!
Check it for yourselves:

| Will those voting for English Beers please name them. I have voted Scottish which includes Cairngorm, Arran, Harviestoun, Caledonian, Orkney, Atlas who are all producing beer above and beyond. The new Welsh beers are great but where do the English votes come from? Oakham excepted. Please speak up and name your beers. |

not so certain about beer, but the best place i've found to find good info on where to drink eg if you're wrong side of the Tamar and stuck for
Leeds Pubs is this place.
anyone got any ideas about how to locate the best ales (ie sorting the wheat from the chaff pubwise)?
